SantaRosaMom.com Recap 3/31

A SF mom gives her daughter regular Botox treatments to prevent future wrinkles

Happy spring! This weather is making it awfully hard to sit inside at my computer, especially with the sun teasing me while it streams through the windows. Anyone doing some fun activities with the kids outside? Take pictures and share them in our Photo Albums! In the meantime, check out what’s going on at SantaRosaMom.com:

Fighting in front of the kids
Generally parents try not alarm their kids by fighting in front of them. But one mom gave an insightful reason as to why she DOES fight in front of her kids. Could you do this? Is it ever ok?

Leashed toddlers
We swore by them, as do many other families. But still others feel that leashes are for animals and not for kids. Where do you land? Do you think toddlers wearing leashes is acceptable or absurd?

8 year old receives Botox
This SF mom is bent on making her daughter a star, and is giving her a bunch of treatments in the name of beauty, including Botox treatments on her unwrinkled face to prevent future lines. And she’s not the only one. Can’t little girls be little anymore?

Favorite indoor kids’ places?
I know it’s hard to believe, but we’re not entirely out of the clear weather-wise. We have a few more rainy days coming up, and kids who want to be entertained. Where do you take the kids when the weather isn’t up to snuff? I’m compiling a list of kids’ places to go to, and your input could make it in the article.

My exciting news
Exciting news on the Wine Country Mom homefront. I’m saying goodbye to my single mom home, moving on to blended family living with Mr. W. There’s guaranteed to be plenty of updates as we go through this transition of mixing kids. Read up on the latest in my WC Mom blog.

Have a wonderful week, and I’ll see you in the forums!
