Compost ABCs
Spring is also time for GARDENING – especially for creating veggie gardens. I mean, who doesn’t prefer the freshness of homegrown vegetables? And a way to create even more healthy plants is by using your food waste to make your own nutrient-laden compost. Dog stays with lost toddler
I loved sharing this story of a faithful dog who refused to leave his toddler human’s side when the 2 year old wandered away from home and got lost. The story was incredible heartwarming and ended well.
8 year old pepper sprayed
This was not such a heartwarming story – an 8 year old became highly violent, and ended up being pepper sprayed by the police. Some claim it was way too harsh of a tactic to use on a 2nd grader. Others believe the police did the right thing. I have my own opinion on this situation, what’s yours?
