Contortionists and comedic clowns, amazing aerialists and artists, as well as beasts of real and imagined delight. Special “Buy one get one free” adult tickets are available online at thefuncircus.com, making this an affordable family event to attend this weekend.
Rapunzel

Steele Lane Community Center (415 Steele Ln, Santa Rosa)
f you’re looking for good, cheap fun to entertain your kids, consider taking them to the theater. The Actors Theater for Children will be giving their interpretation of Rapunzel, depicting what happened after the tower. The show promises to be highly entertaining for kids of all ages, and the audience is encouraged to dress up in their favorite fairy tale attire. Tickets are only $5, and will be available for sale 1 hour before each show.
Project Linus Craft Bazaar

The project that provides quilts and blankets to children facing illness or trauma is holding a benefit craft sale. Beautiful handmade items like baked goods, quilts, holiday decoration, baby items, and more will be offered for sale at very low prices as you get a head start on your holiday shopping and help kids at the same time.
Bay Area Science Festival

Hands on science adventures will be happening at Infineon Raceway. Attendees will be able to look inside the human body through ultrasound technology, search for life in outer space, or operate a robot’s actions. Scientists, engineers, innovators, and more will be leading an action-packed day of activities that will make learning fun for all ages.
Mentor Me Petaluma’s Mentee Art Show Reception

Aspiring artists will be showcasing their art at a very special show this month. The artists are only 7-18, creating their choice of artwork to share with the world. These young mentees are a part of Mentor Me’s program for at-risk youth, participating in a mentorship that has them bonding in a longterm one-on-one relationship with a mentor, giving them a safe and supportive environment to thrive in. Come tot he opening ceremony on November 5th, or swing by anytime during Aqus’ business hours until November 15th.
A Night of Illusionation

Ray Hoey of Illusionation will be performing acts of mind boggling illusion and magic, leaving you only to wonder, “How did he do that?” Not only will he saw a woman in half in his magical tribute to Groucho Marx, there will be plenty of opportunity for audience participation, creative lessons in magic, and fun and mystery for all ages.
