ArtTrails  While little kids might not appreciate ARTrails (though, who knows? You might have a well cultured toddler), the older kid will most definitely enjoy going to different studios and experiencing different levels and venues of creativity. In fact, my 11 year old daughter wanted to make sure that this was included.  Held annually in the fall, ARTrails provides a rare opportunity for the public to meet local artists in their studios and learn about their diverse creative processes and techniques. Through hands-on demonstrations as well as intimate conversations, ARTrails artists will take you into their world where colors, shapes, materials, and textures merge into unique and collectible works of art. A number of the open artist studios are located in or near downtown Santa Rosa.
Sat Oct 10th – Sun Oct 11th, as well as next weekend, 10am – 5pm
